The Ghost of Hillaceous: This is a truly fine ride from Wimberley that takes us through Fischer (with its 1897 dance hall) towards Canyon Lake. I have posted it for Sunday, 14th May at 9:00 am. The route crosses the continental divide ..... well, sort of ..... we do cross from the Blanco River valley to the Guadalupe River valley. The ride is named after the old Wimberley Hillaceous ride that used to go to Luckenbach. It ran in the 1970s - 1990s and included five Texas counties: Hays, Blanco, Comal, Kendall and Gillespie. Note that we are offering both "C" and "B" options.
