Wheelmen 100 Challenge

Due to our "new normal", we canceled the “traditional” Wheelmen 100 charity ride. However, we still want to make our annual donation to Earn-A-Bike’s end of year bike builds for kids in San Antonio. This year, we're offering the Wheelmen 100 Challenge! In this Challenge, each participant will contribute to a worthy cause by registering to ride a bike an accumulative 100 miles from Saturday, September 5th, through Sunday, September 13th. Yes, you have 9 days to ride 100 miles!

What is the Wheelmen 100 Challenge?

  • It is a fundraising event for Earn-A-Bike, which is an organization that helps get San Antonio’s youths on bikes. Specifically, the fundraising will help deliver bicycles and helmets to young San Antonians during the holiday season.

  • In order to ride 100 miles, you can ride anytime and anywhere during September 5-13! You can do 100 miles in a single day or just ride as little as over 11 miles per day for 9 consecutive days. It’s your choice!

  • You can ride outside or even inside with the appropriate smart trainer and software! Yes, virtual riding counts!

  • You will use an app on your phone or use a GPS-based cycling computer to record your ride and sync your ride with Ride With GPS, which will keep track of the total miles you’ve ridden.

Please consider registering for the Challenge. Be sure to tell you friends, especially those who recently picked up cycling. Registration opens tomorrow.
