If you plan to do one of the regular Southside Mission routes, you can find the details about the ride and the routes here.
If you would like to try something new, please consider doing our stay-together ride through downtown. The club used to offer a short, leisurely paced stay-together ride in the downtown area. We are pleased to announce that we are bringing it back in a slightly modified incarnation! For those wanting something a little different than our Southside Mission Ride, plan to join us for a 22 mile ride beginning at the same starting point, Mission San Jose and we'll ride up the River Walk, through downtown past the Alamo, and head north into Brackenridge Park and Trinity University. We'll ride down Main Street, head back into downtown, and stop for brunch at Mad Hatters. Then it's back to the River Walk and Mission San Jose. The scenery is great, the fellowship is even better, and the brunch is terrific.
The pace will be in the 12-14 mph range - as opposed to a no-drop, this stay-together means just that--we stay together.
Please let Bill Blackford know if you will be riding this one as we'd like to give Mad Hatters a head count so that they can hopefully cordon off an area for us.
